Registered Care and Supported Living Services
Our residential services are based in Firs Court in Hook, Chessington – a state of the art complex built in 2012. Our aim is to support everyone to develop and maintain the necessary independent living skills they need to maximise their potential.
Through a multi-disciplinary support network that includes the individuals themselves, as well as family, health and social workers, we aim to provide a holistic approach to all our tenants’ care, mindful of their changing needs. All tenants and residents are encouraged to develop choices and have control in the running of their homes.
The Firs Court Registered Manager leads a team of support workers who are trained in a person-centred approach, accepting that each resident will have different needs and aspirations.
Fircroft provides Registered Care for eight adults with complex needs in Privett House. Privett is well equipped with en-suite bathrooms, hoists and other equipment to help each tenant be as independent as possible. We are also able to provide end-of-life care.
Following our recent inspection from the CQC, we are committed to following through with their helpful recommendations and we are currently taking action to make the necessary adjustments.
Here is some feedback from their recent inspection:
A relative said, “It is a good service, it’s brilliant. They certainly do keep my relative safe and he wants for nothing.”
Another relative told us:
“I think [my relative] is very safe there and the [registered] manager is keeping her safe. The home keeps my relative happy and that makes us happy. I couldn’t wish for a better place for [my relative].”
A Healthcare Professional: “I can say from my experience that it is an excellent service which is very well led by their [registered] manager and the staff. Staff are very patient orientated and readily act on the plans, decisions and referrals for peoples’ well-being and safety. They have empathy with people’s needs, are good at following advice and caring for people. Overall, it is a very good service in terms of care, safety, effectiveness and responding to residents’ needs.”
